I have never fished Yuba before and wanted to try for some pike. Does anyone know areas I can look for to fish from shore? Thanks

Glad you were able to get one! I sure wouldn't have been any help, I've never caught one or even fished for them. Did you happen to notice whether the dock in is at the Oasis ramp, or if any boats were launching?

Better call the park, I saw something somewhere where they are doing some construction and oasis may be closed.

I read that the Oasis Marina will be closed for the month of April while they resurface the parking lot.

I would like to know if the dock is in, so I can run down there with my boat and try it before it closes. (No dock, no can launch.)

I'll try calling, but it's usually pretty hard to get to talk to someone.

Travis at Yuba said both of the docks are in at Oasis. Like I said before, Oasis will be closed the entire month of April for repaving.

Nice work on getting that Pike! I am anxious to get out to Yuba to chase some Pike, but have never been so I hope I can find something out there. Any intel you have would be awesome.

Go to painted rocks. There is a great campground, beach, launch ramp and places to fish from shore.
