Decided to try Hyrum today since I found a little opening in my schedule and I wanted to see if my motor work fixed my trolling motor, it did, yippee!!!! Anyway me and my FIL started trolling and just barely set the pole down and bamm it nearly got pulled in. Ended up losing it soon after. Anyway I thought it would be a good day buuut we ended up trolling around the whole lake with only one more hit which we lost. As we went past the beach we watched a guy on the bank pull in two trout so he was doing ok. Anyway I got about back and the wind let up and started to warm up. Shortly after Rich nailed a 17.5" bow that was just shy of 2 lbs. went a little further and he picked up another 14.5" bow. Then we missed several other hits and I finally broke my skunk with another 14"er. Missed several other hits and got a call that my daughter wrecked her car so I had to pick up and go. Kind of a slow day, but luckily not a skunk. Later J

Good job on the fish, that sure is a healthy looking rainbow.
I hope your daughter is OK though....those are bad phone calls to get.

Thanks Derek, kind of slow but they were nice sized fish so it made it pretty fun. Tried the cats for a little while and only got one Mudcat. I don't have a lot of faith in them yet. Hopefully that next warm up will get me into some cats. Later J

Hey Mike thanks for the concern, she seems to be fine. Had her seat belt on so she was good, her car not so good. She drifted too close to the edge of the road and it was soft and sucked her off the side of the road just in time to catch a crossing irrigation ditch so it took her front end and radiator out. Probably totaled it for her. But luckily she is ok. Thanks for the reply. J

My temp sensor is tweaked so it isn't calibrated so I don't have a number for you. Sorry. J
