Catching at Pineview

I fished Pineview for about an hour and a half this evening and the Crappie were eager to make my trip worth while. I fished over submerged weed beds that were like small islands of stucture surrounded by open water. I ended up only fishing two of these spots and didnt have to move much. The DWR report mentioned the Crappie were biting aggressively and they were correct. I had a few chase the jig to the surface after missed hits. I left with a dozen on the stringer and made it home before it was too dark to fillet.

Nice! Looks like the makings of some good eats right there. Was the lake pretty quiet or did you have lots of friends zooming by on skis and stuff?
