My buddy and I spent most of the day on Strawberry, from about 7:00 until the wind finally got the better of us around 3:00. Saw a lot of people who looked to be after Kokanee, but we weren't set up for that. Fished around Indian Creek in 16 to 45 feet of water and found the depth didn't seem to matter. Saw other boats trolling
various things with no success. A couple of boats were throwing tube jigs or jigging below them, and a couple of float tubers were throwing flies. Very little success with any of those methods. We were using nightcrawlers about 4 feet under a clear bubble, or a nightcrawler with no weight dragged about 50 yards behind us and were just drifting with the breeze which was really light until around noon. We boated 34 and long distance released about 10 more. Even when the wind picked up we were still catching them. A good day on the water and not a lot of traffic.
