Been fishing the lower bear at least once a week but I can't seem to get the catfishing right. Anything down from Corrine to Willard has always skunked me but I love how close it is to where I live. I've always had great luck up by Cutler on through the Tremonton area using nothing more than jello dogs and worms. I've tried all times of day, shallows at night, brush piles on the bends. Maybe it's just my bad luck forever getting me on that part of the river!

Try some carp meat or chub. Seems to work everywhere.

I have been getting a few down here. Carp meat and carp minnows has been the best bait for me tried shrimp and liver but the little ones just keep steeling it. the tour loop entry in the bird refuge is a good place, but you cant night fish there. closes at sunset. but there are a few good places just outside the gate
PM me before your next trip I can give you a good place to start. or even meet up and go together.

Always down for that Ahi. I was trying carp meat last time but had no luck. Those little ones are sure irritating.
