Best lures for Boulders?
#1
I am going on a trip to the Boulders for a week. The friends going with me are not really don't know much about fishing....that it basically why they are taking me. They are expecting me to show them how to catch the fish.
I have never fished the Boulders.
Are there any specific lures (I'm good on fly fishing, covered there..) that work well down there?
I am pretty sure that I have several things that will work in my tackle.....just want to make sure I don't look the fool when I get there and cant get them on any fish.
Thanks

Dark marabou jigs, gulp minnows, Jake's, small tube jigs in various colors, spinners, worms and of course Power Bait. Dark woolly buggers, Utah Killer bugs, bead-head hare's ears, whatever your favorite fly combo is. Don't reinvent the wheel. You'll catch fish, or move to another close by lake and try there. That's one of the great things about the Boulders!Good luck. Have fun. Be safe.
