Knuckleheads......

So I have a beautiful day at PV yesterday but stop a little short of my crappie limit to troll for muskie.
Of course I strike out big time and head back to catch the remainder of my crappies.
A nice guy was in 'my' spot so I ask him if I can fish about 40 yards away from him and if that will crimp his style.
He says no problem and we enjoy a nice conversation while we both keep catching fish.
A bit later a boat is drifting towards me and we keep an eye on him.
As he gets about 20 FEET away from me it is apparent his anchor has pulled off the steep shelf in the narrows (anchor rope hanging straight down from bow eye).
I mention this to him as he keeps getting closer.
There are two adults in the boat and two kids in it also. One of the kids says" grandpa, we are going to hit that boat".
Much to my belief, the grandpa says " thats ok, thats why there is a bumper strip on the boat".
The boat is now 2 FEET away and I put my stuff down and go to my bow to push him away.
His boat is heavier which pushes me away and my iPilot just brings me back so I push him away a second time which gets him far enough away. He then continues on his drift and the guy who ok'd me to fish next to him has to move out of his way as he was in a light aluminum Lund.
I've had people move in on me on shore, boat, and ice but this one blew me away.
I try to be a good human being and a respector of persons and property and this just left me speechless.
I literally did not say anything but wished the two boys luck as they fished through us.

[#0000FF]Hey Shane, either you are just a lovable guy who attracts others...or other folks think that if you are fishing a spot there must be something there. You are a doofus magnet.

Remember the boat at Starvy a couple of years ago?

Hi Pat,
I tried to forget about our Starvy 'guest' but I think the only thing to help with that is electroshock therapy.
P.S. I prefer to think I am just a lovable person!

Glad we're not the only ones that this happens too - sheesh... Good to hear the day was not total loss for you. 'Grandpa' could learn a thing or two about fishing courtesy from his grandkids.

I'm convinced that Pineview is a supernatural vortex specifically tuned to attract the stupid. My temper wouldn't allow me to boat on PV if I had a boat, for sure. Maybe one day it'll attract a supremely dumb being and implode on itself like the house in Poltergeist.

And that grandpa will continue to bump into other boats due to the passive behavior you exhibited. Any behavior, whether positive or negative, will continue until told to change. So if you disagree with something then speak up, pretty simple.
