It was bound to happen. I had my first skunk at Willard since the 12th of June. Looking back through my logs, I averaged just over three trips a week during that time span so I had a pretty good run. I'm blaming today on an eye problem I woke up with. Got up and there was no wind and only a few clouds so I just couldn't see myself staying home today.

[#0000FF]Bummer. I guess the fish just couldn't see their way clear to biting for you.
Thinking about next Thursday. Maybe I can at least provide some company if we both get skunked.

I know you have the north marina down very well (memorized the bottom structure for two miles around) have you found the new reef outside the south marina? It does have good fish activity now. Looks good for next year, I'm sure it will help, thanks to biologists Sorenson. DNR.

I havent fished out of the south marina for a while. Actually considered a quick run down there on the way home. Sounds like I should have given it a try.
