Strawberry Nov 12
#1
We launched from Strawberry Marina at 7-ish and fished the Haw's point area. In the glassy water, the fish seemed suspended and we did best trolling our tube jigs.

I landed a doubles on one pole ... 23" and 21" Cutts. I have a video I'll try to post later.

We did a mix of trolling and stopping to jig until about 11:30 when the wind came up. Trolling was far out-producing but the wind changed everything.

We caught our last 10 (to finish with 28 between two of us) the last hour jigging in 20 feet of water.

We ended the day with two slot busters and 26 averaging about 20". All cutts.

We are catching more larger fish this year than in the past few.

Cutts don't count.......just kidding! I do wish the majority of fish were 'bows though. If that were the case I would fish Strawberry much more.
