2 20 lb pike at Yuba..

went to yuba today and tryed for some pike.. found 2 today.. by buddy dave hit the first one about 1:30 slamed a 6 inck yellow chub in about 10 feet of water.. got it in was 42 inchs and 20 lbs even.. then about 45 min's later i hit a 45 1/2 incher that pushed the scale at 26.79 lbs... what a nice fish!! it was on a mountain sucker pattern.. in 5 1/2 [sly] great day on yuba..

i know bad form replying on my own post. but here is the Mountain sucker pattern. not sure if ya can see the damage to it or not but fish that big do a lot of damage to them . had to put new hooks on both after catching them fish.. [sly]

and some rattling rogue's that were not quit ready to go yesterday but now i wish they were.. lol [Tongue]

both fish are still swimming in the lake.. the 26.79 was going in for the record but for some reason i was thinking the record was 26.50 so i did not think i would best it with that one.. but now i'm sick i let go the new state record pike.. lol oh well next time i'll know the record is 26.1.. [Tongue]
