Middle was wide open yesterday. Too deep to get that freezing but the arms are all capped.

I was thinking of trying this hard deck this season, but I only have a rear wheel ranger. How well is the road to Causey maintained during the winter? thanks for any info.

The road to the dam and scout arm are maintain fairly well. Good tires and you will be fine. Check the ice today, something like 98% froze. It is rotten with the warm weather and rain. It looked bad enough that it was not worth the hike to check the thickness. It will be a few more cold night before I give it a try.

I use to own a taurus and I'd go there a few times a year even though it's going to snow just find a good pair of snow tires and you'll be good. The time's I've been they're they've done a good job but when it get's close to spring time watch out for some decent size boulder rocks on the road.

Has anyone been here and checked the ice thickness. Have lots of reports of ice on it but no reports of the quality.
