I've seen pictures of it capped the last couple days. Heard the edges are awful. My guess is that it is still pretty thin and sketchy in the area by the dam. I'm pretty willing when it comes to getting on new ice but I would definitely give it some more time.

I was up there again today. Edges are awful, looks like the water has come up like 2 feet but all the standing water and slush on top was froze solid. Would have tested the ice if I had remembered my auger. I'll be back up there Tuesday to check it out

When you do go to Causey, how do you target the Kokes? I would love to catch some for my smoker as well. I have never caught any through the ice, and I have only caught very few on the Berry.

I was out on causey yesterday afternoon. Edges are about 2" and where we set up at was around 6". We didn't mark any fish. And it was popping and cracking a lot.

They're constantly moving around. I've found them all over the lake. It's more of trial and error. Drill a hole and hope to get lucky from what I've noticed except one spot out from the dam they tend to be there every time
