I hit DC Saturday morning with the tube. I dragged the tube down through the snow on the State park ramp at about 7:30AM and was fishing by 8.
I caught 10 fish total. 7 were of the 12" planter variety. 3 were 17" bows that put up quite a tussle.
I was done by 10 and home by 11.
The three larger fish and one planter smoked up awesome in the Traeger yesterday. I did a jerky recipee but think the cold weather is not my smoker's friend... the temp varies quite a bit more in the winter.
Still, despite a few extra burnt ends, the fish turned out awesome.
