Pretty bad evening...Cemetery is the right name for the dead fishing tonight...fish just never did show up....3 of us started by 5:00 p.m. and stayed 'til 9:30, hoping the "normal" good bite would start anytime....but it just didn't happen...same general area as Sat. p.m. (limit) and week before (limit), but no one I talked to was doing any good in this area tonight, and all we saw (but maybe 1 tent) had already left when we did....I scraped up 3 crappie on about 6 or 7 tiny bites, my buddies each 0 on about 5 or 6 bites each....barometric pressure dropping, but not steady, and no snow yet...I'm thinking crappie may want a steady low pressure (like in a snow condition) or a steady high pressure, like 3 or 4 days of nicer weather....but maybe not so much when barometric pressure is either going down, or going back up....Anybody else have thoughts on this "dead" crappie night? ...Guluk...

Were you graphing a lot of fish still, but just were not biting? Or, were the fish just not there at all? I am planning on going up Saturday, but debating between cemetery and the narrows. I just don't want to walk on a plank out to the narrows if it has soft edges, so was thinking cemetery. Also, I don't want slow fishing...Lol thanks for the info!. [fishon]

[#800000]Two of us fished off Browning Point last night as well (4 - 10 PM). Marked lots of fish the entire time. I could NOT get them to bite and my friend 20 feet away took home 18 to my 3. My Vex read 47 fow.[/#800000]

I was that last tent, but actually another group showed. Limited on the crappies. Typical 8"-12" on the thin side. Not the Willard slabs.
Flasher was lit up like a Holiday tree.
First time on the ice @ PV this year. Took a minute to figure out the pattern and jig to get them to bite.
All and all, it's what I expected from PV and was a calm, nice day/evening.

Cementary that day. Yesterday browning. Same outcome for both locations. Fish are everywhere there.
