Fish Lake lost items
#1
I've seen a few posts here and there about the losses at the perch tournament on Saturday but I'm thinking we could probably do better. I know for a fact that there was a whole lot of gear lost. For a lot of us fish lake is not a short ride. I will be making an attempt to see if I can retrieve any of my stuff tomorrow. If you are interested I'm happy to look for yours as well while I am there. Post a reply with what you lost, or send me a message with your contact info and I'll let you know what I find. Maybe sending me an email would be the best option. tkbcspete@hotmail.com will put you in touch with me.

Spread the word if you know of others that lost gear.

Let me know if you want help looking. I'll go with you and help look for gear, I figure most of it blew into the trees on the opposite shore.Dave

I would recommend practicing stringent ice safety rules. We walked past open water at Twin Creeks where the water comes in, it may not be safe all the way across the lake.

I agree completely. That big white unknown was the reason we didn't go after the stuff on Saturday. As expensive as those toys can be they aren't worth dying for.

That's a great thing you're doing. I got off lucky and only lost a small plastic sled. The cheap kind. It's yours if you want it. It's not worth the headache over a $32 sled. Good luck on finding your gear

I lost a clam xl6000tc, at lake side, the only thing I had in it, was up in the nets on the inside. I had a pair of kinko insulated gloves, and an under armor beanie. I was going to try and hike across yesterday, but slush monster showed up. Could see tents all across the tree line, but was advised not to go after them. Talked to workers at lakeside, said they were going to after stuff on Wednesday, if they haven't already. By any means, dont put yourself in harms way. If you don't make it down, I will go at a later date, and bring stuff home. I live in helper, but work up north and travel a lot, so paths will cross at some times....might be worth calling lodge first to see what conditions are...

Lost a new clam shack also. It's the 6-8 man shack. If you look on ksl I have posted a pic of it and will pay a reward for its return. It may have my wife's camo gloves in the net of it. I know it was torn on the seam where the two hubs meet together. I have a friend going up tomorrow to look for it also. Hope to have it back and possibly repair it.

I saw a pic of one that was turned in that looks like yours. The guy that showed it to me was at the tournament. I don't recall where it was turned in, but it was an Otter that size.

He also showed me some wicked video of the wind and snow. Looked horrible.

I had to call in sick so I could go to Lake Powell!
