So can anyone share how many feet of snow is sitting on the ice, at Pineview? After the dump we got in most areas, I'm a little concerned about wanting to deal with it, but I would like to get into the crappie at least once this year. Only caught a couple last time down. With the slight warm up coming Monday, I thought that might be a good night to give it a try.

I went to scout it out on Thursday. Conditions couldn't have been worse, and still been possible.
Snow was literally to my knees, and above , about 22" total in the high spots (on the ice) down to maybe 18". The bottom of that was 5" of slush. It was heavy and didn't move out of your way. Your foot/leg prints would fill up with water, so hiking back out in my own steps was aweful.
Everywhere I stopped that had been cleared by others either had crusted slush you would regularly put your foot 10" through, scaring you to death, and I found dozens of open drilled holes with my boot. They were packed in with sluch, not frozen over.
It was cold and windy, and slush would flow in, filling over the holes and freezing them in minutes. Where I stomped down some snow, was 5" of Ice water in half an hour.
The funniest thing was I caught a dozen or so better (solid 10" and up to 11". ) crappies from 330 pm to just before dark, and really fought for bites thereafter. Stayed until 930, and only caught about 5 more.
Not a place for kids for a while. That was some rough going even for a long legged guy who bowhunts elk.

Thanks for the report. I suspected just what you said! Unfortunately, unlike you, even though I love hunting elk, my legs are close to the shortest part of my anatomy. (Please note: I said "close to") It sounds like a friend went yesterday afternoon, and ended up with a limit, so what the heck.
