I received an email this AM from Utah County commissioner Ivie about cleaning up the debris in the water channel at the launch ramp. He told me that the county works department have that on their schedule in the next week or two.
They sold the fish cleaning station and don't have the budget to replace it. We'll have to clean our fish somewhere else.
With the channel cleared out it will be possible to launch providing the water levels continue to rise. Hopefully that will be the case by mid march when the walleye begin to think about spawning.
I have a 22' center console that will run in shallow water when they get the rocks and junk from the ramp area and it gets deep enough to float the boat off the trailer....I'm going fishing! Tin boats might be able to launch now.
I was there yesterday and the fishing was still good for white bass. Not red hot but constant and the fish have some size to them.
I hope we have good year down there in 2017.
