I have a friend that was thinking of taking some scouts to on Saturday. Can any of you tell me what the conditions are like? It has been so warm lately.

Which Huntington are you referring to? If it's Huntington Mammoth, then you may have a problem finding an auger long enough to reach the water. There is 5 feet of snow on top of the ice. It might be a good place to dig a snow cave, if you are thinking Klondike.

That was the one he was planning on. I have to say that sounds pretty gnarly to fish. I assume that electric lake is similar? I believe that location was selected because of proximity to a cabin with snowmobiles. Can you suggest another location?
