Berry- No Slush

Made the solo trip to the berry today and there is no slush, its all froze! If you kick hard enough you can bust through the top layer so there is potential for 12" of slush. I stayed all day and didn't have any issues, today was even 4 wheeler friendly. Not even one soft pocket when I packed up at 5pm. Heres a pic taken at 3pm.

Fishing started hot in the morning then turned to slow with bites picking up in the late evening.

That's the best news I've heard in a while. I hope it stays that way for a few more weeks. I'm not ready to put the ice fishing gear away

Thanks for posting this! I started a post yesterday asking about the slush, was figuring that it might have frozen over the past few cold nights, but wasn't man enough to drive 2 hours to find out. Thanks again.
