Rough Night at Pineview 2/16
#1
Decided to take my son to Pineview last night. Got to Cemetary Point about 8:00pm. Started drilling holes. Went from 48 FOW down to 30. After about 2 hours of searching and no fish, packed it up and went over to Browning. Same story. Spent another 2 hours trying to mark fish. They were no where to be found!! We've been to PV several times at night and have never been skunked. Humble City. I have no idea what we did wrong and no idea where the dang fish were! I'd love to hear what we could've done better. I'm so grateful we don't measure the fun trips by the number of fish we catch. The ice was a good 12-15 inches. No soggy edges. No slush but super slick. After about 30 holes punched and completely worn out, we called it a night and headed home about 1 am.

I also have had one of those nights here this season...First 2 very successful off North Cemetery, then third time, same area, was a bust for 3 of us....didn't make sense either, they just weren't where they were the first 2 times....so last Fri. P.M. we put in off Browning Pt. in the rain, and did really well there, in just 38 FOW....That's fishing....
