Drove up to check the ice off conditions at the berry yesterday.
The only place with enough open water was the ladders.
Pictures of looking west from the ramp, west from parking lot, road to Renegade, road to mud creek, road to Soldier creek dam, and looking down from Soldier cr road.
No tracks like anyone has tried to drive over the remaining snow to try to get to Renegade or down the Mud creek road.
The Soldier cr dam road is only plowed one vehicle wide. I didn't drive down it very far so I don't know how far they plowed but I would think all the way to the dam?
The edges that are melting have thin ice over parts of it. So early mornings may have reduced casting opportunity. At 10 AM the air temp was only 38.
Where is global warming when you want it.....
