Anyone fishing for Walleye in either place? If so how is it? Is it now warm enough to spawn yet?

[#0000FF]The spawn is pretty much over at both lakes. That is the good news. Now the fish are going into their post spawn feeding mode.

There are a few walleyes showing up in shallower water around the edges of both lakes. But water is still a bit cool for a full-on feeding binge. However, throwing plastics or crankbaits can produce a few on good days. Should be seeing some good action on bottom bouncers and crawlers soon too.

I fished DC Sunday for walleye from sunup to 9:30. Not a single walleye nibble. Hooked a SMB but never got him in the boat. Water was 49F. Rainbows were the ticket.
