Hit the Weber just south of the dirt track in Wanship. Tossed about every nymph and work pattern I had without any success. Switched over to an olive bugger with yellow rubber legs and had some good takes, but couldn't get any to stay buttoned up. Was a great day on the river and awesome to see some healthy fish slashing at the streamers.

Good to get out, hopefully the weather starts to turn around. Taking my buddies drift boat to Willard tomorrow to see if we can get some Wiper action.

Thanks for the report. Glad to hear the bugger is what worked--I would always rather fish streamers than nymphs.

Nothing better then getting the tug on a streamer!! I always look at Wooly's as there own style fly for whatever reason I cannot convince myself they are a streamer. Just a very unique fly IMO.
So in my box I have nymphs, streamers, dry flies and wooly buggers.
