Utah Lake Wate Levels

Thought this might perk some people up.

I just looked at the Central Utah Water reservoir reports and the snap shot for the moment is that Dear Creek is 95% full and dumping out about 750 Cubic Feet per second into the river.

Jordanelle is 90% and dumping out about 1090 CFS into the river.

UL is finally 70% full and only -2.92 feet from compromise full pool. Of curse the wind on this sucker causes a "tidal surge" so it can shift 6" of water, or more, to any side with a good wind. but, still, the trend shows the lake is finally less then three feet from full.

Now, with that much water being released from DC and Jordanelle, I see a lot to be happy about for UL this year.

the realy good news is at harbor drive in provo the is almost 1800 cfs going into UL and they have the flood warning for provo river up till Friday now, lotsa water going in, []

I think that they have the numbers crossed between Jordanelle and Deer Creek. I've been watching the numbers for the last couple of weeks and with the flow rates as stated above then Deer Creek should be on the rise and not falling.

Went for a ride up the hill the other day and there is still a ton of snow up on top we didn't even make it up to the forest service boundary on the east side of Heber. Started hitting drifts four feet deep when we turned around.

Plenty of water still to come.

Good news indeed! I can "see" the water level come up every time I visit Lincoln. Every time I go out I pick out a rock or some object right on the shoreline and the next time I go the rock is under water. You can also watch it creep up between the joint lines on the cement launch.

Now if the weather would just calm down...

I don't think they can calculate the water coming out the spillway, I haven't seen water coming out of that since jordanelle went in. went up saterday the water is high and fast.

You might just be correct. Different sites, different data on DC. Gotta love Government data. LOL

As of 5/23/17, I find the following in formation promising.

The sites says that on April 13, the water was -5.77 feet and as of 5/22/17 it is -2.75. Now I don't trust any one day on UL due to the impacts of wind, but overall, it is good to see the water coming up.

I one of the good and bad guys here - have a ranger z518c for fishing (good guy) and a Malibu 24 Wakesetter for water sports (bad guy). I am pretty excited about the water level this year :-)
