Otter Creek Camping Question
#1
So I was gonna head down to panguitch for the weekend but due to the weather I have changed plans and am going to Otter Creek....we have a 21' bumper pull trailer and am wondering what the camping situation is there? Are you allowed to camp on the shore by the lake or do you have to be in a designated camp site at the state park? If you can be on the lake can anyone give me some ideas of where I can get my trailer down in without it being too difficult and has decent shore fishing?

There is good access on the west side of the res. There is also the sate park at the south end of the res.
As to getting 21' trailer near water there should be no problem at all in either the west or the south.
There are vault toilets on the west if needed.
As to the fishing, fishing is always good. Sometimes the catching leaves a bit to be desired where ever you go.
Deeper water the further south you go. unless you fish the beach north of the state park. This slopes out gradually.

Check out the little marina and store there also, they always have a few spots leftover and they have full hookups! The state park just barely put theres in, but only in limited spaces!
