Blue Heron & Snake at Refuge

[BURLEY]

Last week I went out to the refuge to check on the catfish bite. I met Ahi1953 while there. He was trying to get a crap for bait and having no luck. The wind was howling about 25 mph. I didn't wet a hook. I noticed a Blue Heron across the bridge, so I grabbed my camera for a few shots. I crossed the bridge and as I zoomed in on him, I noticed that he was attacking a snake. After a couple still shots, I switched over to video and caught all the action up to the last gulp. I hope the link to the video works. I haven't tried this before. I saw one in that same area a few weeks ago eating a snake too, not sure if it's the same one but I did get a pic of it, this was right before it caught the snake. FYI, when up loading video, you follow the same procedure as adding a picture.
