Strawberry shore fishing help

Im looking at going to strawberry sunday morning i have never fished there from shore only ice fished it where would be a good place to shore fish and pass the time between bites with catching crawdads any help would be great thanks

Haws Point, both trout and crawdads.

I agree with Haws Point. The other place that looks productive is between highway 40 and the SC marina. There is a pull out that you can walk down to the shore.

if you go to the soldier creek side you can fish from the dam. I have had great luck out there pulling in rainbow trout. The trick is Garlic power bait. The garlic is the trick.
