Took the boat out for the maiden voyage of the season on Saturday with my buddy and his son. Trolled for kokanee on the main bay for a couple of hours. Got a hit right off the bat and then nothing until I said, "OK, let's reel in and do something else". Right as I said that a small koke hit one of the lines. Funny how that happens. Trolled for another fifteen minutes and gave up. It was windy and water temps were at 45 degrees. Not quite prime conditions yet I think.
We went over the narrows and jigged for a while. Caught about 10 fish, mostly rainbows. My buddy's son picked up a beautiful male. 20 inches and ~3.5 lbs. We released everything. Fun day.
