Lost creek 6/23

Spent the day at Lost Creek, fishing from my boat. The lake is full and spilling over the dam. Fishing was pretty good. I'd guess I caught 14 or 15 mostly rainbows. Almost all were 13 or 14 inches. Not big, but fun to catch. The road up the canyon is its usual POS. Bottom third is not too bad, middle third was rough and the top third was a bit better. Water temp was 67 degrees and when I left at 3:30, the air temp was a very nice 76. A bit windy in the afternoon, but not too bad.

Thanks for the report.. would a car be able to get up that road?

Roads paved to the dam, but lots of potholes. We'll graded around the lake. Watch for potholes and a car would be fine.
