So I've been to Strawberry Bay Marina a total of two times. Once last year on a week day. Usually I just hit one of the other boat ramps. Went yesterday morning, and holy smokes. It was packed! Everyone was respectful, didn't have to wait long to launch/load, but is this normal for the main Marina at Strawberry? Is it usually this busy this time of year on the weekends?

Yep and the fishing is hot right now at least for myself.
Plus you have real boaters up at Strawberry that know what respect is unlike Deer Creek and Jordanelle.

Yup, I agree on the respectful thing. Fishing was alright, one koke and one cutt in the slot. I've had better fishing days, but I've had much worse. Just a bit shocked how busy it was.

I've waited for one of those "real boaters up at Strawberry" Marina to load their coolers and everything else on their boat while they were sitting on the ramp next to the water. That said, on average, I would have to agree with your comment.

I saw the craziest thing at Strawberry Bay boat ramp Sunday AM.. We were launching at 5:30 AM. When I came over the top of the ramp so I could see the water there were two pickups parked on the east side below the cleaning station below them two dome tents were pitched with a whole family sitting around a fire and catching crawdads off the dock. All of this was on the cement of the ramp. They were not there when I picked my boat up Saturday right at dark so they had to come in late and crawdad all night they had a mess of them. 1 lane completely blocked from launching and turning around. My son took pictures with his phone I'll try to upload them.

It's crazy what you see, especially when it is so busy. This is a picture that I took as we were launching my boat Saturday morning. We headed that way to assist but they got a lot of help quick. It was great to see a bunch of people run to help out and get it back on the trailer! They were able to get enough guys to weigh down the bow and "teeter totter" it up off the ramp onto the trailer and winch it up.

The boat ramps at sc have signs. Don't know why people need signs. The say no swimming, or fishing, around docks and ramp. Some people think "that doesn't mean me? Does it" daaaa.
