Deer creek boating
#1
I was wondering what the regulations are at deer creek for boating? Do they have a manditory boat washing station at deer creek if your launching your boat? I was reading online a while back they were going to take deer creek reservoir off the list for zebra mussels? Is this true can anyone help me out. Thank you

Deer Cr is still on the mussel decon list. You can have your boat decon'd there before you leave if you like, or you can skip it if Deer Cr will be your next destination, or you can just take your boat home and wait a week before launching somewhere else.

Thanks for the information mister completely. If I get a chance to go I'll just get my boat washed before I leave. That way it should be covered better wash and dried.

As long as there isn't another positive test for muscles Deer Creek will come off the contaminated list at the end of December.

Did you get to put your boat in at Deer Creek? Did you have to have it decontaminated?

I fish dc a lot and get my boat washed. Last Saturday we took kayaks to rainbow bay, with about 25 other people, and no one got anything washed or checked there.
