Starvation 7/14

Made a trip out to Starvy, we were targeting eyes and steelies. Between three of us we caught a a little over 2 dozen and kept 18 for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised that on average the walleyes were a little bigger on average than last year.
Best was 21'', a few more in the high teens and the most fit right in the frying pan. All caught on jigs, 10-18 fow.

The DWR started stocking them last year.

Perfect size for hungry eyes! Maybe why the size of the walleye increased. Thanks DWR!! But it seems like an expensive way to feed the fish.
