Took my new kayak out to porcupine for a couple hours tonight to test it out and try to find a fish or two. No fish but my new ride handles good. Tried to improvise a down rigger out of an old reel that worked ok but needed more weight. Water was about 70-75 drivers Abe felt awesome and it's down about fifteen to twenty vertical feet from the high water mark. Saw a couple of kayaks on the water with a group leaving as I pulled up. Couldn't catch anything but tons of fish jumping all over the place not sure what kind tho.
