My Army unit had the pleasure of helping with the flag ceremony and festivities yesterday in Burley at the Dry Creek Baits Tournament. Those guys put on an awesome tournament and treated us wonderful. It was great to see how supportive they of their own club member vets and my Unit.
I know there was staff members and Tournament contestants who were from Utah. If there happened to be an Big Fish folks there, thanks for a great time. The staff took myself and quite a few vets out to whack Smallmouth and we all caught fish. I saw so many big fish at the weigh in. Biggest went #4.75.
I was fortunate to spend some time with the owner of Dry Creek a little too and he was a down to earth great guy. They sold me on a few of their plastics as well. Some of those crawfish and tube jigs got hit on every cast. Hope to make the event next year.
