Does anybody have any experience with Cabela's Ice shelter kit or offer any advice? Is the plywood you supply the actual bottom or does it fit into a plastic sled base? It looks pretty good but you cannot see the details in their catalog picture.

Here in Calif we do not do alot of ice fishing. I would try Utah or Michigan Board for that answer. The Utah members order alot through Cabela's.

Hey Catman, are you talking registered or non registered??? Just kidding. They might even want to try that question on the ice fishing board as well.
Most of the ice fishermen are in UT as well as MI and MN.

Thanks for the info. One more question. Once you get it all put together, how long does it take to set up once you are out on the ice?
