[#0000FF]Probably the delayed harbor dredging. It was supposed to be done last year but had some issues. So the decided to do it this spring...but when the water levels came up it was decided to get in a good summer of recreation (money) and then shut everything down in the fall to do the dredging.
They will be installing a coffer dam around the end of the boat channel and then pumping out the water...to allow heavy equipment to get in and scoop out the muck. Hopefully it will be done by spring...both for the sake of boaters and the June suckers. Not sure how that figures in but it was one of the considerations they mentioned in the last info I got.

that's kinda what if figured, it will be interesting on what they find in the muck and watch the progress., I know last fall when I went to Lincoln beach there was about 2 inches of water, got a anchor, transom saver, my rod holder I lost( or at least it fits the hole and looks like it) and there was 9.9 trolling motor, it was beyond saving,

[#0000FF]It's amazing the stuff you can find around launch ramps when the water level goes down. As a float tuber I have found a gazillion sets of keys, cell phones (no longer working), all kinds of tackle and trinkets when launching or beaching my tube at a ramp.
I doubt that harbor has ever been dredged so no telling what nasty stuff they might find.

That Land Tamer looks kind of fun. I'd drive it around down there for a couple of hours for free.

[#0000FF]I would like to have one of those during the holiday shopping madness. Might help you clear out a parking spot.
