Well, our trip consisted of trying to find good ice. We hit Forsyth, which had two large portions of open water and 2-3 inch ice everywhere else. So we went to Mill Meadow that had open water all over the place but where the inlet was some had drilled some holes there cause the ice went all the way across. We didn't check it. We saw some big bucks and headed to Johnson's Reservoir where we found 7" of great ice. We fished just east of the boat ramp and finally found the contour where the perch were moving through. 12.5' at the bottom.
After Johnson's we ran to Fish Lake and the little bit of ice on the very north and south ends that was there a week ago was gone. It going to be a few weeks before we get on Fish Lake.
My boy is an ice fishing fanatic, well all around fishing fanatic and has been asking to record us fishing. Now I know why. . . It's to show up his dad. Enjoy the video!
