I arrived just as the sun was rising at cemetary point. Edges were good and ice was a solid 7 inches. Started out in 35 ft, marking fish suspended at 20 ft and some just off the bottom. I threw lots of different offerings with not even a nibble. Moved in to 30ft and that was the ticket. Small jigs tipped with a worm worked best. I did catch a few on rattling spoons, 2 on rippin rap. All perch were coughing up baby crappie. I kept 11 8 to 11 inch perch. Best outing this winter on the hard deck. I am hoping to hit it again real soon.

For a person with walking problems which side of the cemetery point is best? Not much snow yet but the north side is steep.

If you go back up the road a block or so from the parking lot entrance you can access the the north side ice with a lot less incline. If you go straight or up it is very steep. It is more toward the head of the bay so not too steep. Then walk back to about the first little point maybe 100 yards and find 30' of water. Hope this helps.

Very good thanks. Hopefully little snow will cover the slick ice.
