Anybody headed to Strawberry next Tuesday march 6 I would like to give it a try for a last chance on the frozen this season.

It certainly won't be your last chance on ice.
I was there on 2/27 with >24" ice cap, solid edges, and no problem at all moving around.
I suspect you will be good till mid April at least to fit in a couple trips.

Wow! Where did u find 24"? I was there last weekend at renegade and only found 12-14"

Went west and south from the Ladders out to the last little island next to the bigger island before you hit the main body of water. By the time my auger cut through I only had a couple inches left before I bottomed out.

I just went out and measured my auger, I need to make a correction on ice thickness.
I always believed my auger was 28 in long for some reason, it actually is only 24 in.
I would say that where I fished last Wednesday the ice was only 21 inches thick. Sorry....
