Berry begining to get some slush

Fished the Berry today. Fishing was good catching was not so good.
Road in to the marina 2wd easy
Parking lot 2wd easy
edges solid
abt 3 inches of snow on top of the ice and melting
abt 3 inches on slush under the snow
Good ice over a foot thick

I would think a 4x4 ATV would do fine since the overall depth of snow and slush isn't thick enough to restrict travel. And the slush is not everywhere. If you do break through into the slush, within a short distance you'll be back on top again.
Stay on the old tracks and you should be good.
March is such a great time to ice fish because it is never crowded. Even if the bite slows down.
