East Canyon today

Took a solo overnighter to east canyon. Fished north side by the cabins this morning and got 3 dinks. Ice was 3-4 inches and edges were soft or non existent by noon. temp was upper 40's when I got there yesterday at around 4. Temp was 55 when I left this afternoon. South side of lake and the arms still have the best ice. I would imagine ice on the north end will be unsafe very soon with higher temps during the day.

Good report -- I think that North end/boat launch area will be ready for my canoe pretty soon - but maybe another trip to the South end.....Guluk...

I did notice 3 groups of 4-6 on the south side by big rock. No one was on the arm by the intersection today.
