got out yesterday afternoon, water temp 51-52, lake down almost 8', lowest its been since ive been here. i swear if it wasnt for the lakemaster mapping on my humminbird units im sure i would have torn up some stuff by now. was damp and chilly. spent a bunch of time throwing a lipless cb around shallow, then started looking at some deeper stuff. when i saw a bunch of gulls diving.....BINGO!!! dug out the V-4 from TSCL and a jerkbait. fired the jb out there, jerked it few times and.......LOCKED UP! Big Grin wound that one in and proceeded to lay waste to the fish. did catch one double on the V-4. no bigs but several 3lbrs. alternated between jb and V-4. tried a hair jig, deeper cb(did catch one little spot on it) and topwater.
