Utah Lake Access

Can anyone tell me the closest place to Provo to access Utah for free and with a good chance of catching lots of fish? :-) I will be in the area tomorrow with my kids and would like to take them fishing where they can do some catching. Years ago I fished down the dirt road west of Provo Airport. Is that road still open?

Take a look at the official map. It shows the access points offset from the shores of the lake, but you can get a pretty good idea if you zoom in close.

[#0000FF]The road is still open, but during low water years the reeds and brush grew in pretty thick in the access points. I haven't checked it out lately but you may need a bulldozer to get to the water.
