well , we had decided to try fishing on memorial day even if we had to run all way up past Dayton to get away from holiday boat traffic , but as it turned out , we practically had lake to ourselves with all the rain, but that suited us just fine we had a super day of catching !!! We caught around 25 and most of them were tx size with largest at 4.40 lbs. We tried shallow our first stop and no bites , so we both decided better try deep and found them stacked in grass , points and ledges, caught on spinnerbaits ticking top of grass ,tx. rigged craws , shakey head wms., carolina lizards , and gold spoon , and yes, we were wet as a fish but had a blast !!! out at 6 am and came in at 3:30 below,fished below cfp and up above sequoyah !See yall out there
