Lost Creek Friday 2/20/04
#1
Man O man-nice day! My neighbor and I got to lost creek around 10:30am-fiddled around drilling holes between 50 ft and 20 feet. Fish started hitting around noon (at 20 feet)and it was nonstop until we left at 3pm. I landed 12 and missed quite a few. My neighbor landed about 7 with one nice cuttthroat. We didn't catch anything really big-most 'bows went about 14" or so. No wind and lots of sun. We saw 6 people the whole day. Unless you are a glutton for punishment I suggest a power auger. Ice is very thick (2 feet or more)-I almost arrested after the 3rd hole. I'm on my way back up there now-maybe I'll see you.

I'm still waiting to catch "Aquaman's "the one that got away"'!

With the new snow how was the road up in. Were the edges soft? What area were you fishing?

Hi Icefool, we fished right in the middle of the dam at 20 feet or so. No new snow-maybe a skiff or so, there's no problem getting up there as long as you have 4 wheel drive.
