Launch out of Dayton for the first time yesterday and was really surprised how different the lake is on the northern side. Fished from 9 - 2:30 and water temp was 78-79. Struggled to find a consistent bite. Threw about everything, but the only thing I could get bit on was a plum Ol Monster worm. Caught 2 keeps about 2 1/2 lbs missed another and caught a 15 lb flat head. Fished shallow and deep. Bites came in 5 - 15 FOW. Hopefully figure something out next time. Tight lines!
