Down below Buckboard in the Breeze Hill area has been producing, last week orange or pink hoochies ( 1 day 1 color and then the other the next, go figure). Apex’s in pink/glow or red also produced, hyper plaid or Bahamas momma dodgers, 4” but if nothing is hitting try a 5.5”. 35-45’ down

AFDan52 & I did a second trip after deciding on the road to reroute to the Gorge with our intention of going to Strawberry Monday 8-05. We had to work a little more for our limits this trip. We used 5.5" dodgers using orange, pink hoochies but the bite wasn't consistent so trying out other color schemes yielded sporadic catches. First catch that morning was a nice 3lb pinkish red koke which I released immediately. All of our catches were 50'+.

sometimes there is more boats than fish on a Sat.
another thing that works is a 8" flasher with some green on it and a 18" leader to the squid some times this will out fish all the other stuff.
has been times when we would get are limits fast load the boat and go after Big Lakers at Linwood bay
