Lake Texoma Striper Report
#1
Went out at 4:30 am on texas side hitting numerous points from 4:30 am till about 10:30 am till my arm was about to fall off. Stopped counting at 50. We had a bite about every 5th cast and sometimes on every cast off some points. Water temp was 49 to 51 with pressure from 30.14 to 30.19. Striper were from 3 to 12 lbs. No real monsters, but these were broad and strong. Had 30mph winds to deal with but my minn kota held up. Lake is way way down and had my trolling motor digging up mud to get through some areas that normally you can motor through. Any other fisherman out there that fish texoma for striper or smallmouth. I am looking for some idea's on how and when to catch smallmouth out there. I can fish for all others types of bass with no problem, but have not been able to establish a good smallmouth pattern.

Thanks,

Jesse
