I have no doubt you'll be bumping that one if this year is like last year for you, let's leave it as is at 27, appreciate the honesty, but it really appears to be 27 in the photo, so that's what I go off of for others is what I can see so we'll stay consistent and do the same for you, but the good Karma that comes with the honesty will probably put that 30"er in your path... Good luck... Jeff
PS... If this was the biggest cat in the contest we would be a little more critical for exact measurement...
When things get stressful think I'll go fish'en and worry about it tomorrow!

Dagnabbit. I knew I should have come with ya. Nice cats. If you are starting on the good ones this early, I can't wait to see what you are posting in a few months from now. Keep it up.

Nice! Those yak photos are tough. Hard to hold the fish without grippers and hard to get the stretch with just one had and camera in the other. Second person sure helps. I used a gripper on mine last year and towed them around until I could measure on tailgate of truck. Pretty hardy fish so they seem to do okay when released.
Great start but I'm with Catrat, the best (biggest) is yet to come.

Look at the belly on that toad.
He looks like he is in the double digit range for pounds.
Did ya happen to weigh him?
