Decent day of trout and redfish.....
#1
Hit the intercostal today on a low tide, figured I’d throw some live shrimp under a cork on the grass flats and see if there were any big trout moving in yet. 1st cast and bingo, small trout...didn’t want to use all my shrimp on small trout so I threw the fly rod and slayed them, just no big ones. Tide changed later in the day so I fished around one of the spoil islands and threw the shrimp again, got quite a few redfish but nothing big, one interesting by catch was one of the redfish had a small remora attached to it, came off in the boat so I checked it out and threw it back. Nice day to be out in the sun.

Those redfish are a purty fish. Do those trout migrate to the rivers or do they spend their entire lives in the salt water?
